Throughout the year, the Central Library and its branches feature story times for two-year-olds and for children, ages 3-7, with stories, songs and activities for young listeners and readers. Each month there are extra programs and activities. Call for times and location of the library nearest you.

This century old research, teaching and public service institution is the second largest component in the University of Texas System. The Univeristy of Texas at Arlington offers 90 baccalaureate, 74 master's and 34 doctoral degrees. Meeting facilities on campus include two 500-seat auditoriums and the 2,751 seat Texas Hall. The Student Union or University Center features several meeting and event spaces including the Bluebonnet Ballroom which seats 600 for dining and 1,000 theater-style.
