The I-30 Mobility Task Force is publishing construction email alerts related to the I-30 improvements in Arlington, Texas. These email alerts notify you of upcoming lane closures or detours resulting from this project.

Road Segment Status Work
I-30

Eastbound I-30 traffic can exit at Cooper Street, Center / Collins, Nolan Ryan / Legends Way, and SH-360.

Traffic may enter eastbound I-30 at Cooper, Collins, Nolan Ryan, Convention Center, and Ballpark.

Westbound I-30 traffic may exit at Ballpark, Bairdfarm / Legends (Southbound only), and Cooper.

Traffic may enter westbound I-30 at Cooper and Center.

February 2009 through Summer 2010: The I-30 westbound entrance from Ballpark Way will be permanently closed. A new entrance ramp will be constructed between Baird Farm Rd and FM 157/Collins St with an expected opening in summer 2010. Alternate entrance ramps are available from SH360/Six Flags Dr, FM 157/Collins St, and Cooper St.

Eastbound Frontage Road 

  • Through fall 2009: A section of eastbound frontage road between Center Street and FM 157/Collins Street is reduced to one lane as crews work in the area of the FM 157/Collins Street Bridge.

Westbound Frontage Road 

  • Through fall 2009: A section of westbound frontage road near the intersection with Ballpark Way is reduced to one lane to help traffic merge from a new exit ramp for Baird Farm Road and FM 157/Collins Street.

Wet - n Wild Way

(Ball Park to Baird Farm) This section of the westbound frontage road is reduced to one lane to help traffic merge from a new westbound exit ramp for Baird Farm Road and FM 157/Collins Street.

(East of FM 157/Collins St to Westbound Frontage Road)  Wet-N-Wild Way east of FM 157/Collins Street south to the westbound frontage road is now open to two way traffic.

(Wet-n-Wild Way (Westbound Frontage Road) between FM 157/Collins Street and Wet-N-Wild Way NB)   Wet-n-Wild Way (the westbound frontage road) approaching the FM 157/Collins Street intersection is now open to traffic. 

Collins Street (FM 157)

(Lamar Blvd to Skyline Drive)  The new Collins Street bridge over I-30 will be open to traffic on Monday November 23, 2009 – 3 MONTHS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE !!!!  The bridge will have 2 NB and 2 SB lanes open to traffic.  Construction activities will continue on the bridge for pedestrian facilities and cleanup.   

Nolan Ryan

(Road to Six Flags to Randol Mill, Along west side of Baseball Stadium) Nolan Ryan will remain closed to all traffic until further notification. 

Center St.

lane or lanes closed now

(Road to Six Flags to WB Frontage Road / Ryan Plaza) Center Street across I-30 is opened to NB and SB traffic.  NB traffic from Road to Six Flags may turn west on the frontage road to access Garfield, Lamar, or WB   I-30 or traffic may turn east on Ryan Plaza to access Collins.  Center Street does NOT continue north to Lincoln.

Copeland Rd.

(Center Street to Collins)  Copeland will be reduced to one lane EB from Center to Collins.

Ryan Plaza

lane or lanes closed now

(Center to Collins)  Ryan Plaza will be reduced to one lane EB & WB from Center Street to Collins.
