From spicey Carmen to serene! Claude Debussy, whose music has been described as "floating and ethereal harmony", had said, "Let us at all costs preserve this magic peculiar to music, since of all the arts, it is most susceptible to magic." The Debussy piano trio will be performed by violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth, pianist Heejung Kang, and cellist Karen M. Smith. His songs will be sung by soprano Claudia Gonzalez Smith. Tenor Sergio Cepeda will included, as well as a bit of Ravel (Bolero perhaps!), and songs of the French pop genre. One hour concert followed by complimentary fruit/cheese/dessert buffet, and post-concert pianist Erik Barnes who takes requests. BYOB allowed.
