River Legacy Park is a 1,300-acre urban oasis following the curves of the Trinity River in north Arlington. The Park’s ecological diversity of bottomland forest, wetlands and prairie provides abundant habitat for countless birds, fish, mammals and native plants. Stop by the adjacent River Legacy Living Science Center first to learn more about the plants and animals that call River Legacy Park home. Then enjoy the park's more than 8 miles of paved hike and bike trails; 10 miles of off-road mountain bike trails; custom playgrounds; picnic areas, pavilions, river overlooks and canoe launch.
