Active In Arlington

UT-Arlington Marching Band Makes History: First to Perform at Cowboys Stadium

 

By performing at halftime of the Cowboys-49ers preseason game on August 29th, the UT-Arlington Marching Band made history, becoming the first marching band to perform at the new $1.2 billion Cowboys Stadium.

“We’re very excited for UTA to be our first featured performance from a band in the local area for a Dallas Cowboys Football game,” said Charlotte Jones Anderson, Dallas Cowboys Vice President.  “It’s only fitting that, being here in Arlington, UTA is the first to represent us and the first to be on the field at Cowboys Stadium.”
