Dallas Cowboys 2011 Schedule

The 2011 Dallas Cowboys regular season schedule begins with a Ryan Brothers showdown of Broadway as the Cowboys travel to the New Meadowlands Stadium to take on the New York Jets. New Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan will face his twin brother, Jets head coach Rex Ryan, on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. The date of the game, September 11th, marks the 10th anniversary of terrorist attacks on New York’s World Trade Center.

The Cowboys’ regular season home opener takes place in Week 3 at Cowboys Stadium against their NFC East division rival, the Washington Redskins, on ESPN’s Monday Night Football.

Other prime time kickoffs include: October 30th at Philadelphia on NBC’s Sunday Night Football; a home NBC Sunday Night Football game hosting the New York Giants on December 11th, and a Saturday night NFL Network game at the Tampa Bay Bucs on December 17th.

The annual Thanksgiving Day opponent at Cowboys Stadium will be the Miami Dolphins at 3:15pm central on Thursday, November 24th.  There will also be another holiday home game:  Christmas Eve (Saturday, December 24th at 3:15pm) hosting the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Cowboys schedule is tied for 15th toughest among 32 NFL teams based on opponents’ combined 2010 winning percentage (.504).  The Cowboys finished 6-10 last year, third place in the NFC East, and will play a third-place schedule which includes games at Tampa Bay and home versus the Detroit Lions.

The Cowboys play only seven games against teams with 2010 winning records: @ New England Patriots (14-2), @ NY Jets (11-5), Eagles twice (10-6), Giants twice (10-6) and at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-6).

Information on single-game tickets and Party Passes to Cowboys games at Cowboys Stadium will be available later in the summer.  For information on the limited number of Season Tickets remaining, call the Cowboys Season Tickets Sales Office at 817-892-4400.  For information on Cowboys Stadium Luxury Suites, call 817-892-4470.
