DeMarcus Ware and Four Former Cowboys Named to 2000’sAll-Decade Team
Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware, a perennial All-Pro and Pro Bowl player who is considered the most feared pass-rusher in the league, is now among the NFL's elite players of all time as a member of the "2000s All-Decade Team". The squad was selected by the Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee. The fact that Ware entered the league midway through the decade as the Cowboys' 1st round draft pick in 2005 makes his accomplishment even more amazing. In his first five NFL seasons, Ware has already amassed 64 1/2 career sacks and became only the sixth player in league history to record 20-or-more sacks in a season.
.
Ware is joined on the NFL's "2000's All-Decade Team" by four other players who spent portions of their careers in a Cowboys uniform: G Larry Allen (’94-’05), DT LaRoi Glover ('02-'05), WR Terrell Owens ('06-'08) and LB Zach Thomas (2008).
