Judging the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Auditions By Kristi Scales As the Sideline Reporter for the Cowboys, I get lots of questions about the team, the players, and what it’s like to watch a game alongside the players on the sideline. But if I meet someone and they find out that I’m also a judge for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders auditions, their curiosity is really piqued. It doesn’t matter if a person enjoys sports or knows a quarterback from a cornerback...they’re all curious about the process of selecting members of “America’s Sweethearts.” Questions about judging the cheerleaders tend to vary by gender. If my new friend is a guy, he’ll ask something like, “Hey, do you need any help judging?” One way or another, the guys want to attend auditions. Women are generally more curious about the actual criteria used by the judges. They also want to know about they types of women who audition. Men tend to worry more that the girls auditioning are “really hot.” Or, as my male cousins will admonish me every year: “Don’t pick any dogs for the squad!”. Ouch! more >> | | Page 1 >> |
