Bring your family to Six Flags can be a memory for a lifetime! Each year, over 2 million families enjoy the rides, shows and games at Six Flags Over Texas. Before you arrive, here are some helpful ideas and tips for the best family experience.
This can be especially helpful during weekends, when the park is more crowded. Planning a lunch or dinner a little bit early or late can save your some time and make your visit more enjoyable.
While no food or drinks may be brought inside the park, there are picnic tables outside the main gate where you and your family can enjoy a picnic lunch. Before you arrive, pack a cooler with lunch food and drinks, and leave it in your vehicle when you park. When you are ready to stop for lunch, leave the park (don't forget to get your hand stamped for re-entry) and enjoy your picnic lunch right outside the gates. When you are finished, go back for some more fun games and rollercoasters!
There are several cool-down zones throughout the park that can offer a great opportunity for a quick break or cool-down, especially during the summer months. These zones also make a great family meeting place if your party will be splitting up.
