Arlington High Schools ramp up every fall for football games! Football in Arlington is more than the game, it’s the band, the crowds, and the school spirit. Whether you grew up in Arlington or not, going to a high school football game will get your blood running and push your excitement to the max. Get ready to cheer for the Alma Mater and sing during halftime with the band, color guard and drill teams. Here are some great reasons to go see a high school football game in Arlington, Texas:

  1. Friday Night Lights are a Real Bang For Your Buck
Looking to see a live action football game and support our local schools? Tickets for games range from $4.00 for students to $6.00 for general admission. Stadiums range from local high school fields to UT Arlington’s Maverick Stadium.

  2. Great for a Date or Family Fun
On a cooler Texas evening, bring a blanket to snuggle up with your date as you watch a game from the stands. For the kids, deck them out in the school colors of your choice and have them down close to the field to catch the treats the cheerleaders toss to the crowd.

  3. Seniors Can Apply to Get a Free Pass or a Great Discounted Rate
That’s right, if you are 60 or older you can get free admission to football games by signing up for the Gold Pass at AISD headquarters (for Arlington residents). If you love the band, you can also pay a low rate of $5.00 to come out and see the band competitions!
