The home of the 2023 World Champion Texas Rangers invites you to hang out on the field and experience Globe Life Field in a new way! Grab your tickets to play catch on the field, hit some wiffle balls, run the bases, play yard games, plus tons of photo opps and guided ballpark tours. There will even be meet and greet sessions with Rangers alumni Michael Choice, Bryan Holaday, Derek Holland, and Phil Klein. 
 
 
Light Up Arlington

For the 16th year, Light Up Arlington is back in Downtown Arlington – just a little bit earlier this year! 
Starting at 6:00 pm enjoy live music, food trucks, plus activities. Fireworks will kick-off at 9:50 pm and set to music on 95.9 The Ranch FM.  
  • Free public parking is available throughout Downtown, with parking lot closures and street closures around City Hall, 101 Center and the City Tower.  
  • Look for signage with QR codes during Light Up Arlington for the latest information about events and activities.

Arlington Independence Day Parade Firecracker 5k

Before enjoying the Annual Arlington Independence Day Parade, lace up your sneakers and get ready to run around Downtown. The 5k race will start and end at the Levitt Pavilion with the route. Medals will be awarded for top three in 8 age-divisions, plus overall male and female, and masters male and female.

The oldest and longest running event in the city will be taking over the streets of Arlington with colorful floats, antique cars, marching bands and other parade entries winding through Downtown.
