If you’ve been around for a minute, you know Arlingtonites know how to celebrate Independence Day. So much so, we celebrate over 2 days. Come celebrate with us!

Light Up Arlington

Sunday, July 3rd  I  6:00 pm – 10:30 pm

To kick off the 4th festivities, head Downtown for live music, food around every corner, activities for the kiddos, and of course, FIREWORKS!  Starting at 6:00 pm, take the kids to the Downtown Library for face painting, a bubble bus and more. Hang out at one of the five live music stages, including Levitt Pavilion, Grease Monkey, and Arlington Music Hall. Grab a bite to eat at one of the many Downtown restaurants or at one of the many food trucks around. Don’t forget dessert! It wouldn’t be an Independence Day Celebration without fireworks. Tune into 95.9 The Ranch for a musical accompaniment to the night’s firework finale.

Check out all the details of where to find food trucks and details, as well as road closures and where to park.

Arlington Independence Day Parade

Monday, July 4th  I  9:00 am

The party continues the next morning with the oldest event in Arlington and one of the largest 4th of July parades in Texas! Red, white, blue will cover the streets of Downtown and celebrate the 4th of July so big, it’s gonna make you want a hotdog real bad. Stake out your spot early along the parade route for a family fun morning celebrating America’s Birthday!

Celebrate all weekend long with these other 4th of July events in Arlington:

Coca-Cola July 4th Fest at Six Flags Over Texas

First Sunday Happy Hour and Open Studios at Create Arlington

Sunday, July 3rd
