The best part? You can access this free content with or without a library card from the safety of your own home.

Anyone can take advantage of these 7 free unlimited digital resources!

1.      Virtual Storytimes

Library staff have begun posting daily digital story time programming videos for children to ensure families are still receiving early literacy services, as well as literacy tips and activities!

2.      At-Home Arts and Crafts

Have some down time? Learn to sew a scrunchie or make toilet paper roll flowers with your family using step-by-step DIY tutorials, designed by library staff.

3.      Tumble Book Library

Read-alongs and eBooks and quizzes, oh my! Take full advantage of this free unlimited kid-friendly library, available through your browser and mobile devices. The site provides educational resources including graphic novels, music, quick reads, puzzles, games and more to keep your kids busy and intellectually stimulated!

4.     TumbleMath

Does your child struggle with math? TumbleMath offers math eBooks for students in Kindergarten through second grade.

5.      TeenBookCloud

Access instant graphic novels, drama and poetry, fiction, nonfiction and videos for teens and young adults through TeenBookCloud. No account or download is necessary.

6.      AudioBookCloud

For those that like to multi-task, explore the massive collection of audiobooks on AudioBookCloud. Content on the site caters to all ages and interests, and even provides audiobooks in Spanish!

7.      RomanceBookCloud

To all you tired parents who want to kick your feet up with a glass of wine and a good book, this online library is for you. Browse a collection of romance novels in your pajamas, no account or downloads needed.

With a classic Arlington Public Library card, not only do you have access to the above content, but you can also browse through popular audiobooks and digital comics with no waiting list on Overdrive; download eMagazines on RBDigital; and access eBooks covering traditional school topics (i.e. English, history, science, etc.) with  eBrary and more through the library’s database content tab on their website. A library card also grants access to NewsBanks, a digital Texas newspaper service; online tutoring with Brainfuse; learning resources for students grades K-12 with SchoolCenter; Mango, a program offering 60 foreign language programs, and AbdoZoom, a site allowing young learners to study animals, biographies and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) subjects!

Community members without a classic library card can sign up for an Arlington Public Library eCard here. This virtual library card is an alternative to a classic library card that grants Arlington residents access to the free online library resources mentioned above, though some access may be limited. You can access any of the above resources online using a phone, laptop, desktop computer or eReader!
