For all you holiday lovers, it’s finally that time of year. The Hallmark movies come, on and it’s time to get cozy with a cup of hot chocolate. We might be a little biased, but Arlington is the perfect place to get some holiday cheer. Even our rollercoasters get into it! Six Flags Over Texas transforms the entire park into a winter wonderland. It’s the ultimate stop for everything from family fun to date night strolls under millions of Christmas lights.
You know it’ll be a merry time since Six Flags is putting health and wellness first. Check out their full guidelines and be sure to bring your mask!
Seasonal Entertainment
Holiday in the Park runs from November 21 through January 3, 2021 for select days, and you don’t want to miss a minute of it. Ever danced with a reindeer? Down for some Christmas-themed karaoke? Please, and thank you. With festivities for the whole family, everyone can get in the spirit – even the bah humbugs out there. On top of the twinkling lights and gigantic Christmas trees, Santa Claus visits every night the park is open, so there’s plenty of time to get in your wish list and sneak in some family photos.
TIP: On a budget? Save money and use our discount tickets.
Instagram Worthy Stops
Speaking of photos, the whole park is filled with holiday photo opps. Everything is bigger in Texas, and you can’t miss their “Tree of Trees,” a 60-foot tree made up of over 70 smaller trees. Watch the assembly video for a sneak peek. Get shots next to massive Texas-themed ornaments or wait until dark for the perfect string-lit backdrop to some portrait mode photos.
Merry Marketplace and More
Take in all the sights, sounds and smells of a traditional Christmas! Warm up with hot chocolate and s’mores and feel like the star of your own Hallmark movie. Really though, there’s hot chocolate around every corner, so you’ll never run out. Take a stroll through the shops for one-of-a-kind gifts for everyone on your list (go ahead and treat yourself, too!).
Remember to wear your mask while you visit our World of Wonderful! Wash your hands often and wait 6 feet (two baseball bats) between you and others. Six Flags is putting you and your family’s health and wellness first with increased protocols. The park is operating at reduced capacity for plenty of room for social distancing and payments in the park are mobile and card only. Increased cleaning in high touch points and hand washing stations are just a few of their many health precautions. Take a look at their full guidelines and start planning your visit!
