Family Favorites

A favorite choice of sports fans with kids in tow, Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar is not far from Hurricane Harbor. Kids love the menu choices that include a power pack containing temporary tattoos, crayons and a 3D augmented-reality game. Their “create your own sundae” bar is a big hit, too.

Dave & Busters elevates the sports bar experience with kids in mind, too. The Million Dollar Midway includes hundreds of games to keep the little ones occupied, while the adults enjoy the massive TVs, stadium sound and five-dollar appetizers on game days.

Not only is J. Gilligan’s Bar & Grill the home of the original Irish Nachos, they also have a children’s menu and a game room for the kiddies. There’s live music each night and an assortment of comfort foods to go along with your choice of brew.

Boomerjack’s Grill & Bar offers a diverse menu with everything from burgers and sandwiches to steaks and seafood. There’s also a great kids’ menu and a large selection of beers and mixed drinks. Kids will be blown away by the fried cheesecake and molten chocolate lava cake.

If you’re a baseball fan, Bobby V’s Sports Gallery Cafe is the place for you. There is a lot of baseball memorabilia competing for your attention along with the many TV screens. You’ll love the home cooking found here including country fried steak, major league burgers, gourmet pasta and other favorites.

Located across from Six Flags Over Texas and the International Bowling Museum, Humperdinks Restaurant & Brewpub is a popular gathering spot on game day. They offer several in-house craft beers, including German and seasonal beers, and their food is just as exceptional and made from scratch. Keep it traditional with burgers and hot dogs, or up the ante with steaks and seafood.

Brew Houses

As you might guess, Sherlock’s Baker St. Pub is a British-themed public house. Try one of 60 beers on tap or 25 bottled beers accompanied by British food such as fish & chips and shepherd’s pie. Two full bars and 40 HDTVs add to the excitement of game day.

The delightful Hooligans Pub brings the flavor of Ireland to Arlington. Fans enjoy a full bar and 25 different craft beer selections, with new flavors introduced each week. When other football fans are braving the elements, get a table next to the fireplace and order a round of gourmet burgers.

If you’re looking for a non-smoking sports grill, this is it. Mavericks Sports Grill offers premium and imported beers. Get started with a cup of tortilla soup before moving onto mammoth burgers and sandwiches. Mavericks is always tuned in to the big game, with coverage of NFL and SEC networks plus The Longhorn Network.
