World-renowned as the home of two major sports teams and two major amusement parks, for one weekend, Globe Life Park rolls out the red carpet in some of the world’s best in classic and vintage cars, April 20-22, 2018.
The 7th Annual Concours d'Elegance of Texas celebrates everything about the motoring lifestyle for collectors as well as those who really enjoy not just a car, but the art and history that comes with a vintage automobile.
Attendees actually can attend three-days of exclusive activities including flying down a private track in a 2018 Ferrari, participating in the Texas Classic Car auction with approximately 100 classic cars totally more than $10 million, or appreciating some of the most desired pieces of art on four wheels. Even Tweety Bird is part of the fun during the Concours d’Elegance as the official kickoff at Six Flags Over Texas.
However, on Sunday, April 22, at Richard Greene Park (near Globe Life Park) is the “big show,” when dozens of beautiful historic classic automobiles from across the country will be showcased throughout the lakeside setting. The cars presented in the COT have been curated from a distinguished juried panel to select the best of the best. Attendees can spend the day not just seeing the cars, but getting up close and personal with their owners and learning their stories through the Caelum Moor Sculptures while enjoying food trucks, vendors and more.
Featured cars at the Concours d’Elegance of Texas include:
-
1910 Buick Model 16
-
During the Concours d' Elegance, the The Texas Classic Auction also will happen on Saturday. To see the cars lined up for auction at https://bit.ly/2IRNY7F.
