On the hunt for things to do for Valentine’s Day weekend in Arlington? How does live music, a fondue happy hour, college basketball or a craft beer dinner grab you? Let’s take a look at all that and more on the Valentine’s Day Weekend Warrior agenda for all of you lovers, singles, family types or people just looking to pursue a little happy:
Live Music
Snuggle and sway with your sweetie—or shake your money maker with your friends—at any of Arlington’s live music venues, including:
Grease Monkey: Besides enjoying a cold brew and one heckuva burger (check out the Black and Blue Burger) you can also catch acts like Darron Williams and the Josh Lee Band.
Sherlock’s Baker St. Pub: When it comes to Valentine’s Day weekend fun, it’s elementary at Sherlock’s Baker St, where the music acts Chinatown, The Max, and Empire 6 are all on the V-Day agenda. While you’re there, try a London Platter, featuring beer-battered cod, popcorn shrimp, and seasoned fries.
Brickhouse Lounge: DJ-spun tunes, a Chicago Step Class and live music are all on tap at the Brickhouse, plus they’ve got something billed as a “Lavish Buffet” that sounds simply scrumptious.
Arlington Music Hall: If you and your honey dig bluegrass, country or Americana, you’ll want to snag tickets to see 14-time Grammy winner Ricky Skaggs perform at one of the most beautiful venues in Downtown Arlington.
Valentine’s Weekend Party at Hooligan’s: This popular Downtown Arlington watering hole plans to keep the V-Day vibe going all weekend long with wine specials by the glass or bottle, plus complimentary chocolate and flowers.
