Our vibrant Entertainment District is home to Esports Stadium Arlington, AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Field, Six Flags Over Texas , the Arlington Convention Center, and more. What does that mean? The Arlington CVB is full of exciting events and opportunities to volunteer...and we want YOU to be a part of the action!

Volunteer Types

Convention, Tradeshow & Event Support
Event Support Volunteers play a vital role in enhancing the attendee experience and ensuring smooth on-site operations during meetings, conventions, and tradeshows. Responsibilities may include assembling welcome materials, stuffing registration bags, greeting attendees, badge scanning at sessions, providing directional support, and assisting with light event set-up or breakdown tasks. Volunteers should be comfortable with extended periods of standing or walking, navigating large venues, and handling light packages or materials (under 20 lbs.). This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who enjoy high-energy environments and being part of impactful business events.      

Information Table/Front Desk Reception Volunteer    
The role involves greeting visitors, providing information about services and events, and answering inquiries. Qualifications include customer service experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in computer and phone systems. This opportunity may be located at a local indoor event venue or at the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau office. A background check is required along with completing the Arlington Ambassador training.     

Registration Assistance    
As a Registration Assistance Volunteer, you will be one of the first points of contact for convention attendees, helping to create a welcoming and professional first impression. Duties may include greeting guests, assisting with attendee check-in, managing name badge distribution, printing materials on-site, and sharing basic local information. This role may involve light computer work, intermittent standing, and the ability to lift small packages or supplies (under 15 lbs.). A friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and customer service mindset are key for success in this role.    

Sporting Event Volunteer    
Volunteering for sports events is a great way to support your community while gaining hands-on experience in event coordination and teamwork. It offers the chance to meet new people, build connections, and develop valuable skills like leadership and communication. Plus, being part of the high-energy atmosphere can be both exciting and rewarding. Future volunteer opportunities will be communicated via the email address you register with. • May require standing for extended periods. • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for offsite events. • Indoor/outdoor booth environments depending on location.
