Traveling to Arlington with children? Pondering how to keep them entertained? We got this. Be it an active tot or a fussy teen, the World of Wonderful is chock-full of kid tested fun that you will love too:
- Let’s start with the Entertainment District. It’s hard to believe so much awesome can be packed into such a small space, but we pull it off nicely. How about roller coasters at Six Flags Over Texas, the Lazy River at Hurricane Harbor, a selfie with the Caelum Moor statues, or a Texas Rangers game? If sports aren’t your jam, you can always do stadium tours to immerse yourself in the team's history and architecture. And walking being front and center to the field is pretty sweet too! #selfie
- South Arlington boasts Alley Cats Entertainment Center, Arlington Tennis Center, plus Molly Hollar Wildscape and a plethora of other city parking for swimming, playing, walking your dog and soaking in some Vitamin D.
- And last, but not least, our bustling downtown area is our cultural arts district, and offers up a variety of mediums for all ages. Enjoy visual art exhibits at Arlington Museum of Art. For year-round live performances, check out the calendars for Theatre Arlington, Symphony Arlington and Arlington Music Hall.
- Last but not least, free is good, right? Check out this list of suggestions for FREE family fun.
