Professional Sports

Sports lover's paradise

Crowds roar, the energy is electric. Nothing beats the feeling of cheering on your team surrounded by thousands of fans. Football. Baseball. Soccer. Basketball. Bowling. The list goes on. With three world-class stadiums and home to three professional teams, Arlington knows a thing or two about sports.

Attention football fans! AT&T Stadium is home to the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. Keep the tailgating coming – we’ll take any reason for more cornhole and BBQ! We all know everything's bigger in Texas, and when you visit AT&T Stadium, you'll see the world’s largest HDTV video board, the world’s largest sliding glass doors and the world’s longest arches.

What summer is complete without baseball?  Catch a foul ball at the Texas Rangers’ new home Globe Life Field. We thought baseball couldn’t get any better, but now you can snack on Ballpark Nachos in the AC! If you stop by between games, get a tour at AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field to get the in’s and out’s to the team and stadium. Hello, trivia night – we’re ready for you.

Shooting Hoops and Rolling Strikes

If you like your sports courtside, head over to College Park Center on UT Arlington’s campus for a WNBA’s Dallas Wings game. For bowling experts and newbies, the International Bowling Museum & Hall of Fame keeps the strikes and good times rolling. Explore the roots of the game and its champions before challenging your friends to one of the mini bowling lanes. FUN FACT: Their International Training & Research Center is the only potential junior U.S. Olympic Bowing Training facility. Is that the sound of striking gold in the next summer Olympics?

There’s always something happening in Arlington, so keep an eye on our calendar. “Dirt Month” takes over at AT&T Stadium in February and March with PBR, the American Rodeo, Supercross and Monster Jam. Catch a soccer game and cheer on the Mexican National Team or finalists in the International Champions Cup. For the ultimate gamer, Esports Stadium Arlington hosts esports tournaments and events from the Esports Championship Series and Dallas Fuel’s Opening Weekend to the Esports Awards. Get your tux ready for awards season!
