And there is one very special day set aside to celebrate this malty, hoppy, fermented nectar; International Beer Day was created in 2007 by Jesse Avshalomov to:

  • Gather with friends and enjoy the taste of beer
  • Celebrate those responsible for brewing and serving beer
  • Unite the world under the banner of beer, by celebrating the beers of all nations together on a single day

I don't think Jesse could have imagined the beer expansion that has taken place since that fateful day in August 2007. With the number of breweries in America tripling in the last decade, the range of flavors and types of beer have exploded as well. And Arlington is now home to it’s own unique selection of beer options to help you celebrate on August 7th:

Division Brewing: This small local craft brewery is known for is wide range of beer types. Wade and his crew are always looking at ways to push the envelope. They usually have lagers, IPAs, stouts and ciders, but if you are interested in expanding your beer taste, try out one of their sour beers or roll the dice and ask for their newest brew! 

Legal Draft: Started in 2015 by a recovering attorney and retired logistics guy, this craft brew team opened in Arlington with a bang (of the gavel that is)! Their legal themed beer names, fun and friendly tap room and great flavors, provide a great experience especially for those looking to "gather with friends and enjoy the taste of beer." And for those looking for a gluten free option Legal Draft has you covered with their Free & Clear Lager!

Revolver Brewing at Texas Live!: One of the newest additions to the beer community in Arlington is Revolver Brewing BLDG 5 Tap Room. Not only can you taste this North Texas brewery's traditional array of beers, but you can enjoy a menu inspired by their unique brews! Revolver is located inside Texas Live!, which also offers a wide range of beer offerings through out all their venues!
