The International Bowling Museum & Hall of Fame collects, preserves, and exhibits the 5,000-year history of the worldwide sport of bowling. Through the interactive exhibits, explore the origins and evolution of the sport from the ancient Egyptian beginning to today's cutting-edge computer assisted training centers. Life-size replicas, rare film footage, exhibits, and displays help visitors learn about the game’s ancient past, celebrate its present, and even get a look at the high-tech future of the sport.

Relive the legendary rise of Don Carter from pinsetter to champion. Discover the story Carolyn Dorin-Ballard, a 10-time All-American and 2007 USBC inductee. Survey historical exhibits and playful replicas that trace bowling’s roots from ancient Egypt to British monarchy in the Middle Ages, and up to the taverns of the New World.

Examine the surprising cultural impact of the game through the words of Washington Irving and the cartoons of Charles Schulz (yes, the same guy who created the Peanuts and Charlie Brown). For the adults, you’ll even learn about the time-honored connection between bowling and beer. No matter what age, you can test your bowling knowledge with interactive trivia game show and testing your own bowling skills on the Highway 66 mini-lanes!

The International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame is located within the International Bowling Campus, the educational, scientific, and governing home of the sport. In addition to the museum, on campus you will find the Bowling Proprietors Association of America, The United States Bowling Congress, the International Training and Research Center.
